Well written and captivating stories about historical events all over the world. Stories about vikings coming to America, Captain Cook exploring the South Pacific and dicovering new islands, and an erupting volcano that is defeated by residents determined to save their tiny island. From well known tales to stories almost lost to history, I was engaged with every chapter and loved learning about these fascinating lands.
